Elaine L Thomas (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Elaine L. Thomas, 82 of Bolivar, Missouri departed this life on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
She was born on June 29, 1931 in Ventura County, California to Robert Franklin and Nellie (Barker) Franklin.
Elaine was united in marriage to Roy Thomas on July 23, 1955 in Bolivar. To this union three children were born, Kevin, Steven and Randy.
Elaine was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed reading and traveling the country with her husband in their R.V.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nellie and an infant sister, baby Marceline Franklin.
Elaine is survived by her husband Roy Thomas of the home, three sons, Kevin R. Thomas and his wife Martha of Raytown, Missouri, Steven R. Thomas and his wife Cynthia of Grain Valley, Missouri and Randy W. Thomas and his wife Lisa of Lees Summit, Missouri, one sister; Darlene Seiner and her husband Robert of Bolivar, and seven grandchildren, James Michael Thomas of Bolivar, Lindsay Thomas of Independence, Missouri, Corey Thomas of Raytown, Missouri, Jarrad Thomas of Blue Springs, Missouri, Morgan Thomas of Lees Summit, Missouri, Conner Thomas of Lees Summit, Missouri and Alyssa Thomas of Grain Valley, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar under the care and direction of Butler Funeral Home.
No visitation will be held.
