Eldon Lewis Dinwiddie (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Eldon Lewis Dinwiddie of Conway, Missouri passed away in his home Wednesday, August 2, 2023. He was born November 16, 1977 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri to John Dinwiddie and Carla Hightower Potts. At the time of his passing, he was forty-five years, eight months and seventeen days.
Eldon was raised in the Stoutland and Lebanon area and attended school in both towns. Following his schooling, he began his trade in welding and was employed at Lowe Boats. He then was employed by Cackle Hatchery in Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Eldon is survived by his wife, Amy Dinwiddie; his mother, Carla Potts and her husband Tom of Lebanon, Missouri; his father, John Dinwiddie and his wife Leota of Richland, Missouri; his sons, Haydon Dinwiddie of Sleeper, Missouri, Doyle Dinwiddie and Brantley Dinwiddie of Conway, Missouri; his daughter, Haley Arel of Springfield, Missouri; his sisters, Eva Ballinger of Springfield, Missouri, Jennifer Mayfield and her husband, Chris of Long Lane, Missouri; his brother, Craig Dinwiddie of Lebanon, Missouri; his step-brother, Eric Bailey and David Potts of Joplin, Missouri, his step-sisters, Alisa Rifenburg and her husband, Kevin of Lebanon, Missouri and Lorissa Arnoll-Dinwiddie and Luna Dinwiddie; and two grandchildren on the way.
In his spare time, Eldon enjoyed going to the river with his family. He also liked playing hand ball and looked forward to hunting with his family and friends. He had a mischievous personality and a good sense of humor. Eldon was the oldest child and was very protective of his siblings.
He had been attending Life 360 in Conway and was working to improve himself while establishing a relationship with God.
Eldon looked forward to being with his family and friends. The stories and memories he made with his loved ones will be treasured for years to come.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
