Elena Mulneix's Obituary
Elena Cecile Mulneix, daughter of Howard Steve and Rosemary Krause Mueller, was born March 19, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, March 17, 2012 in her home near Hartville, Missouri at the age of fifty-one years, eleven months, and twenty-eight days.
On November 1, 1984, in St. Louis, Missouri, Elena was united in marriage to Timothy Luther Mulneix, and to this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard.
Elena is survived by her husband Tim, of the home; her daughter Sara Mulneix of the home; her mother Rosemary Mueller, of Hartville, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Elena was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in the Class on 1978. She was a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, in St. Louis when she lived there, and briefly attended St. Paul’s College in Concordia, Missouri.
Elena and Tim moved to Hartville in 1985 to make their home. She was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church and was baptized by Reverend Dick Wakefield in June of 2000.
Elena was blessed with the birth of her daughter, Sara. Sara was the light of her life and she devoted every ounce of her being to caring for and loving her.
Elena enjoyed bowling with friends and fishing when she had the chance. She also liked sewing and craft making in her spare time. She was a true city girl turned country and loved animals, especially her cows and chickens.
Elena was a loving wife, mother, and daughter, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
Funeral services for Elena will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday Morning, March 21, 2012, in Little Creek Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Little Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be 7:00-8:30 PM Tue evening in the Little Creek Baptist Church.
