Elizabeth Alta Hammons (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Alta Hammons, age 91, of Bolivar, Missouri, departed this life early Tuesday morning, July 3, 2012 at the Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
Elizabeth was born on February 11, 1921 in Polk, Missouri, the daughter of Isaac Simmeon Reynolds and Eleanor Blanche (Hopkins) Reynolds.
On March 17, 1939 Elizabeth was united in marriage to Dolen Howard Hammons in Dunnegan, Missouri. She and Dolen loved to fish and wouldn't pass and oppoturnity to spend a day together doing so.
She was the secretary at Fair Play Schools in Fair Play, Missouri and then she went to work at the Polk County Welfare Office. Elizabeth was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Isaac and Blanche Reynolds, her husband; Dolen in 1997, three brothers, and one sister.

ri, her son; James Hammons and his wife Pat of Martinsburg, Missouri, her grandson, Greg Hammons of Pleasan't Hill, Missouri, and her sister; Ann Brown of Bolivar, Missouri, along with numerous nieces and nephews that will forever miss Elizabeth.
