Elizabeth M. Moore (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Elizabeth Mae Moore was born December 10, 1937 in Long Lane, Missouri to Walter and Louise E. Robie Dibben. She passed away in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab in Lebanon, Missouri on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. She was eighty-seven years, six months and seven days of age.
Elizabeth grew up in the Long Lane Community and graduated from high school there. She later made her home in Kansas City and lived there for several years before returning to Lebanon in the late 1950’s.
On January 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Moore and they shared nearly fifty-four years of marriage prior to Robert’s passing on December 17, 2012.
In addition to her loving husband, Robert, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Louise Dibben; two sons, Randy and Bobby; her brothers, John and Charles; and her sister, Betty Turner.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Pamela Inman of Lebanon, Missouri; her son, Stanley Moore and his wife Robin of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Sarah Wise of Richland, Missouri and Juanita Young and her husband Robert of Eldridge, Missouri; one brother, James L. Miller of Hermitage, Missouri; one grandson, Bradley Powers; and a host of great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Elizabeth loved animals and loved living on a farm. She enjoyed playing cards and other games, and liked making quilts. She had a garden for many years and canned many vegetables.
She loved her family and spending time with them as long as her health allowed. Throughout her life, Elizabeth was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, embodying the roles of a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her home was a haven of warmth, love and laughter where countless memories were created and treasured.
Services for Elizabeth M. Moore will be Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, June 20 from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Vernon Cemetery and donations may be left at the funeral home.
