Ella Fay Webster (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Ella Fay Webster, daughter of Walter Scott and Ethel Walters Crall, was born, February 18, 1924 in Hugo, Missouri. She departed this life, Thursday, August 13, 2015, in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of ninety-one years, five months and twenty-six days.
On October 11, 1940 in Laclede County, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Harper Cullen and to this union five children were born. He preceded her in death in 1978. She later married Than Webster who also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marcia Cullen; a sister, Della Mae Ashbaugh; a brother, Arvel Crall and three half-siblings, Ira Lee Crall, Ernie Mac Crall, Helen Estes and Betty Lou Crall.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth H. Cullen of Statesville, North Carolina, James W. “Jody” Cullen of San Jose, California, Clyde W. Cullen of Macks Creek, Missouri, Catherine B. Pilkenton of Peoria, Illinois and Charles Calvin Cullen of Camdenton, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a half-sister, Francis Patton of Camdenton, Missouri; a half-brother, Robert Joe Crall of Montreal, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ella Fay was raised in the Hugo, Missouri area. She worked at a Laundromat in Camdenton and later at Blair Cedar and Novelty. Her greatest accomplishment was raising five children.
Ella Fay was saved and was a member of Myetta Missionary Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved to sing gospel music with her son, Calvin playing the guitar. She had a knack for growing beautiful roses. She enjoyed spending time and visiting friends at the Macks Creek Senior Center. Most of all, time spent with her family was precious to her.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend.
Memorial donations may be made to Myetta Cemetery and left at the Funeral Home.
