Ellen M. Fennessey (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Ellen Margaret Fennessey, age 65, of Pittsburg, Missouri passed away on Saturday September 17, 2011 at her home.
She was born September 28, 1945 in St Louis, Missouri to Michael Tasch and Anna Petri. Ellen married Robert "Bob" Fennessey on November 20, 1976.
She spent 20 years working for Teter’s Floral Products. She also worked for Century 21 as a Real Estate Agent and owned, along with her husband, the Bell Harbor Resort on the Pomme de Terre Lake.
She was a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and attended the Hope Lutheran Church, in Hermitage, Missouri.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” of Pittsburg, Missouri, a sister, Lorraine Schrant of St. Louis, Missouri, a brother, David Tasch and his wife Patricia of St. Louis, Missouri, 3 nephews and 2 great nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. Musical selections will be, "Jesus Lives. The Victory is Won", "I'm but a Stranger Here", and "Abide With Me". Burial will follow at the Antioch Cemetery in Pittsburg, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00pm on Tuesday night, September 20, 2011 at the funeral home.
