On March 19, 1955 she was united in marriage to William C. Rosenburgh and to this union one daughter was born.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Ellen is survived by her loving husband, Bill, of the home; a daughter, Becky Teske, and her husband, Chuck, of Hartville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Oake, Rocky, Amber and Nathan; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Jones, of Clearmont, Florida, and Vivian Dene, of Mishawaka, Indiana; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised and attended school in Mishawaka, Indiana. After graduation she worked thirty-five years for U.S. Rubber Company, where she met Bill. Following her retirement they traveled the world, touring countries such as Yugoslavia, Italy, Ireland, Thailand, Egypt, and Japan. Then in July 2004 they made their home in Wright County, Missouri to be close to family.
Ellen had made her profession of faith in Christ at a young age and was a longtime member of the First Church of God in Mishawaka, where she served as the Sunday School Secretary and sang specials and in the choir faithfully for forty years. She loved the Lord and lived to serve him, she was a prayer warrior and read her Bible from front to back yearly.
She loved caring for her home and spending time with her family, especially babysitting grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed writing to her pen pal from Norway that she had for twenty years and always sent out cards of encouragement to family and friends.
Ellen was a kind and caring person who always put others first. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
