He and Rosemary moved to Titusville, Florida in 1981 and made their home there for nearly twenty-one years before moving to Lebanon, Missouri in 2002 to be closer to family.
Ellis was a deeply religious man and had accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He woke up at six o’clock every morning to study his bible. Every time he and Rosemary would relocate, the first thing they did was to find a suitable church. Ellis loved the Lord.
He was never met a stranger and enjoyed talking and laughing with his family and friends and his railroad buddies.
