Elsa (Elly) Jobe (Hartville)'s Obituary
Jobe, Elsa "Elly" (NEE: Weigl), of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the age of 79. Loving wife of the late Alfred E. “Ed” Jobe; beloved daughter of the late Leonhard and Katarina Weigl; devoted mother of Donnie (Diane) Jobe and Johanna Huber; adoring grandmother of Mitchell Jobe, Ethan Jobe, Lindsey Jobe, Alexander Weigl, Stephan (Hildegard) Huber, and Claudia Huber; cherished great-grandmother and aunt of several; dear sister of Hildegard (Hans) Kreitmair. She is preceded in death by her daughter Monika Weigl and son Leon Jobe.
Elsa was born and raised in Germany. Elsa met her husband, Edward, while he was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. They were married and moved to the United States in 1964, settling in Elk City, Oklahoma. In 1981, Elsa and her family moved to Hartville, Missouri, where she and Edward raised their sons, Donnie and Leon. After 30 years of residence in Hartville, Elsa and Ed moved to O’Fallon, Missouri, in 2011 to be closer to family. Elsa especially loved the time she could spend with her grandkids.
