Elsie Ruth Spitz's Obituary
Elsie Ruth Miller Spitz was born August 21, 1932, in Kansas City, Missouri, and passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006, in Christian Healthcare South, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years, two months, and twenty-five days. Elsie Ruth Miller was united in marriage to Ellis E. Spitz in 1962. Ellis passed away in 1991. Her parents also preceded her in death. Elsie is survived by a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She and Ellis owned restaurants in Windsor and Bolivar and then moved to Lebanon in 1986. They operated the Munger Moss Restaurant in Lebanon and also managed the apartments. For several years, Elsie cooked for the Wednesday night fellowship at First Baptist Church. Throughout the years, she was also a devoted homemaker. Elsie made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and was a member of First Baptist Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed caring for her home and also her little pet dog that she loved so dearly. Elsie will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Roper Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeal Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
