Emma Lorene Bowers (Seymour)'s Obituary
Emma Lorene Bowers, age 89, passed away peacefully in her home in Fordland, Missouri on Sunday May 26, 2019 with family by her side.
She was born Wednesday, January 29, 1930 in Webster County, Missouri one of four children of Everett Phillips and Ethel (Bench) Phillips. She was raised and lived most of her life in the Fordland area. On June 4, 1963 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Bowers and became a military wife while also working as a beautician. She had also been a school cook and was a member of the Fordland First Baptist Church. She enjoyed her retirement years sewing and reading.
Surviving Lorene is her husband of 55 years Kenneth of the home; two sons Michael Hunt and wife Chari of San Antonio, Texas and Steven and wife Debbie Bowers of Fordland, Missouri; a daughter Dana Bezdek of Concord, Ohio as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and a son-in-law Don Bezdek.
