I enjoyed cutting many a " shine " with Ervin. He was like a younger brother during our runnin around days. He was definitely a jokester. I always wondered how it would have been if Ervin wouldn't have changed his mind and went ahead with me to theTexas oil patch to join Clayton and Bruce. Another part of the " circle " now is missing.
