Esmail Farahzad (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Esmail Farahzad, son of Kas Heyran Touti and Robabeth Nesai, was born October 1, 1948, in Rasht, Iran. He departed this life Friday, July 15, 2011, in St. John’s Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, nine months, and fourteen days.
On January 8, 1995, in Iran, he was united in marriage to Firouzeh “Nicki” Ghorbani, and they shared the last sixteen years.
His parents preceded him in death.
“Essie”, as he was called by his family and friends, is survived by his wife, “Nicki”, of the home; a son, Kayhon Farahzad, of the home; three daughters, Hannah Farahzad, of the home, Mina Farahzad, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Laura Farahzad, of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Bijan Heyran Touti, of Iran; two sisters, Farideh Touti, of Chicago, Illinois, and Manijeh Heyran Touti, of Iran; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Iran, and then came to the United States in 1972, making his home in New York. After a few years, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he attended college and later owned and operated U.S. Security and Telephone Company. He remained in Wisconsin for twenty-five years, and after he and Nicki were married, they made their home in Wisconsin and began raising their children. For the last four years, the family had lived in Lebanon, Missouri.
Essie had made his profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Heritage Baptist Temple in Lebanon.
In his spare time he enjoyed helping others and liked raising funds for those in need. He also enjoyed playing basketball with his son. His family was very important to him and he especially loved his children.
Esmail was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
