Esther Norman (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Esther S. (Ginger) Norman age 91 of Bolivar, formerly of Louisiana passed away Saturday May 26, 2012 at the Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 30, 2012 at the Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana with Rev. Robert Warren officiating.
She was born and raised in Louisiana, the daughter of Virgil V. and Mary E. Roan Stumbaugh. She married Les Norman and he preceded her in death. They owned and operated in the 1940’s and 1950’s Norman’s Drug Store on the corner of 4th and Georgia Street and Norman’s Liquor and Sporting Goods on the corner of Main and Georgia Street in Louisiana. They also owned Norman’s Farms in Louisiana until retirement. She spent several years in Florida, moved to Bowling Green, then to Clinton. She then moved to Bolivar where she spent her final days.
Survivors include two nephews Jack V. Stumbaugh Jr. of Bowling Green and Jay Vee Stumbaugh of Mexico; one niece Joyce L. Knight of Bolivar and many great nieces and nephews who live in the Bowling Green area. Preceding her in death was one brother Jack Vincent Stumbaugh.
