Etha Pauline Bailey (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Etha Pauline Bailey, daughter of Arthur and Maude Shadrick Hart, was born September 18, 1932, near Eldridge, Missouri.  She departed this life Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-one years, six months, and twenty days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James Moore and Gregory Runge; two brothers, Walter and Wardie Shadrick; and a sister, Emma Hart.
Pauline is survived by three sons, Larry Runge, of Palatine, Illinois, Gary Runge, and Cindy Judge, and Richard Moore, and Tina Ferguson, all of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Emma Van Houten, and her husband, Andy, Zeb Runge, Jessie Runge, and his wife, Jennifer, Hannah Runge, and Cole Gann; four great-grandchildren, Cody Stewart, Audrey Van Houten, Maxwell Van Houten, and Kaylee Blucher; two brothers, Clyde Hart, and his wife, Alberta, of Phillipsburg, Missouri, and Bob Hart, and his wife, Joyce, of Camanche, Iowa; two sisters, Alberta Rogers, and Maxine Goffe, and her husband, Richard, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Edith Shadrick, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; a cousin, Jim Martin; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Eldridge community, and moved with her family to Lebanon when she was ten years old.  She then finished her education and graduated from Lebanon High School.  Pauline made her home in the Lebanon area for most of her life, and in addition to being a devoted homemaker and loving mother, she also worked as a seamstress for the H. D. Lee Company for thirty-two years.
In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, gardening, and growing beautiful flowers.  Her family was always the most important part of her life and she greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend.  We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
