Ethel Captola Dulin (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Ethel (Pody) Captola (Peak) Dulin, 83, daughter of Everett and Mable Peak, was born on December 4, 1937 in Strafford, MO and lived most of her life in Greene County and Fair Grove, MO. She resided in Buffalo, MO at the time of her death.
Ethel was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; and was loved by all who met her. She was a woman full of love and life. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Ethel was preceded in death by her mother and father, Everett and Mabel Peak; her first husband, James Randall Dinwiddie and her daughter, Pamela Yvonne Dinwiddie. She is survived by three children, Dawnn Barrett of Independence, MO, Jenniffer Cox of Urbana, MO, and Jeannette Underwood of Omaha, AR; eight grandchildren, Christopher Dinwiddie, Jamie Murphy, Angie White, Danial Underwood, Ethan Underwood, Dakota Lawson, Montgomery Clark, and Grant Clark; and nine great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the Bass Chapel Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Escorts will be Jackie White, John Bryce, Jacob Downey, Gregg Cox, Levi Downey, and Chris Dinwiddie. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Folds of Honor or the Autism Research Institute.
