Marie was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. In addition to raising their girls and keeping a respectable home, she attained her beauty license and was a beautician owner/operator. Marie was also an accomplished artist, having painted many canvases over the years, several of which hung in area businesses. Marie was passionate about helping our veterans, and was a gracious and loyal supporter of the “Help Hospitalized Veterans” charity organization. In addition to her parents, Etta Marie was preceded in death by six siblings; brothers, Charles, Leonard, Harlan, Edward and Donald; and sister, Ruth. Marie leaves behind her forever devoted husband of seventy-one years, Tony, of the home in Rogersville; daughters, Paulette Hale of Independence, Kansas, and Rita and Robert Schwaller, who live between Eugene, Missouri, and Apache Junction, Arizona; two granddaughters, Shonda and Rev. James Newman, and Danielle and Rev. Etta Marie Hale was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a caring sister, and a treasured friend. Marie lived a life that set an example for her children and grandchildren. She was devoted in her faith and great love for Jesus Christ. Her greatest wish was for her family and friends to all come to know Christ’s forgiveness and unconditional love. Family was most precious to her and the many memories made and moments shared over her eighty-nine beautiful years on this earth will be cherished in their hearts forever.
