Etta Pyle's Obituary
Etta Bell Pyle, age 84 of Humansville, Missouri passed away on Thursday morning, January 19, 2012 at Northwood Hills Care Center in Humansville.
She was born June 18, 1927 in Hoisington, Kansas, the daughter of Curtis Ellsworth Shook and Elsie Leola (Mulkey) Shook.
Etta was a bookkeeper for Continental Restaurants prior to her retirement. She met her husband Oatis Pyle in Wichita, Kansas and it was love at first sight. Etta and her husband loved children and gave many foster kids a good start. Oatis passed away on July 14, 2008.
Etta is survived by her two sons; Curtis L. Coulter, Thomas Eugene Coulter, two daughters; Barbara Jean Bayley, Arletta S. Jurgens, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Northwood Hills Care Center in Humansville, Missouri with Pastor Joe Larson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday afternoon at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery just South of Springfield, Missouri.
