Eugene Bell (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Eugene Bell, son of Joecephus and Virgie Alice Welch Bell, was born, February 19, 1925 in Laclede County, Missouri. He departed this life, Tuesday, November 20, 2013, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-eight years, nine months and one day.
On September 24, 1948 in Marshfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Daisy Lee Webster. Together they shared sixty-five years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Custer Bell and a grandson, Roger Lee Shoemate.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy Bell of the home; four children, Larry Shadrick and wife Mary of Camdenton, Missouri, Donna Roark and husband Ronnie of Eldon, Missouri, Doris Rushin and husband Jerry of Camdenton, Missouri and Janet Mondy and husband Arlen of Harrison, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Bell of Springfield, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Gene was raised in Camden County and lived the rest of his life there. He worked for Blair Cedar Novelty and later began a career as a truck driver.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and doing yard work.
