Eunice Lowery Perry's Obituary
Eunice Lowery Perry, daughter of Cleman and Joyce May Palmer Lowery, was born August 7, 1938, near Grovespring, in Wright County, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, March 23, 2007, in St. John’s Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-eight years, seven months, and sixteen days. On March 5, 1955, she was united in marriage to James A. Perry, and to this union two sons were born. Her parents, and a brother, Andrew Lee Lowery, preceded her in death. Eunice is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, James, of the home; two sons, Andy Perry, and his wife, Tracie, and Ed Perry, and his wife, Judy Ann, all of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Amy Dampier, Phillip Perry, and Chandra Perry; three great-grandchildren, Kiley, Emma, and Gunner Dampier; three brothers, Elmer Lowery, and his wife, Dixie, of Grovespring, Missouri, Loran Ray Lowery, and his wife, Sharlene, of Republic, Missouri, and David Edward Lowery, of Grovespring, Missouri; four sisters, Susie Burtchett, and her husband, Jim, of Niangua, Missouri, Flossie Young, and her husband, Bob, of Dallas, Texas, Norma Ross, of Cole Camp, Missouri, and Bessie Baldwin, of Chillicothe, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Grovespring community. After she and James were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their sons. Besides being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, she also worked at the H. D. Lee Company for over forty years. Eunice accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of fourteen at Elk Creek Baptist Church, near Hartville. She later transferred her membership to the Prosperine Baptist Church. She belonged to a citizens band radio club and enjoyed visiting her friends and acquaintances. She liked being outdoors and enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. She also liked sewing and crocheting in her spare time. Her closest ties were to her family and she especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, sons, and grandchildren. Eunice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon.. Burial will be in the Bradshaw Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
