Eunice McCartney (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Eunice Fay McCartney, 76, of Pittsburg, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Parkview Health Care Facility in Bolivar, MO. She was born in Kansas City, MO on June 5, 1942 the youngest of ten children to Harry and Nancy Morris. She attended North East High School in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Luster T. Flippin on September 11, 1958 and the couple had two children. After Lusters passing in 1992 she later married Floyd K. McCartney on May 21, 1994 until his passing in 2009. With this marriage she was blessed with four loving step children. Eunice was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was the most important and proudest part of her life. She was a member of the auxiliary Pittsburg Rural Fire Department. She loved living at the lake and singing in her church choir.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Roberts and her husband Jeff, Tom Flippin and his wife Toni, Susan Saffels, Jean Young, and Joy McCartney; grandchildren, David Roberts, Dakota Roberts, Wyatt Flippin, Dalton Roberts, Blake Saffels, Alex Coursen, Lane Coursen, Stacy Kabriel, Mindy Young and Bradley Roberts; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Cathy Roberts.
Visitations and celebrations of life will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, November 12, 2018, at the Bethel Baptist Churuch, 23011 Hwy J, Pittsburg, Missouri, 65724, and from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Monday, November 12, at Speaks Family Legacy Chapel, 18020 E 39th St., Inedependence, Missouri, 64055.
