After the war, she married Claudie and they first made their home in Indiana for a year before moving to the old Barber farm, near Lebanon. Throughout the years, Eunice was a devoted and hardworking homemaker to her husband and family, and also helped in the operation of their cattle farm when necessary. Eunice made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for several years. She enjoyed her church fellowship and also taught the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class for some time. She belonged to the Busy Bee Quilting Club and the WPFA Club, where she had served as President.
