Eva Dodd (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Eva Karoline Dodd, daughter of Johan Leo and Eugenia Baumann Wimheim, was born, July 17, 1935 in Germany. She departed this life, Wednesday, January 13, 2016, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of eighty years, five months and twenty-seven days.
On December 19, 1954 in Germany, she was united in marriage to Gerald Robert Dodd and to this union three children were born. Together they shared sixty-one years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Glenn Dodd; a brother and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Dodd of Camdenton, Missouri; a daughter, Rita Keeth of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, James Dodd and wife Barbara of Camdenton, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jason Dodd, Sandy Ingersoll, Kristopher Keeth, Kari Dodd and Cindy Keeth; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Eva was raised in Germany and began worked at a young age. While in Germany, she worked at a leather factory and a clothing factory. She and Gerald moved to Texas and later to the Lake of the Ozarks. She retired from Modine after thirty years of service.
Eva was baptized into the Catholic Church and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Camdenton.
She had a knack for gardening and growing things. She loved to cook for friends and family alike. Sending time fishing brought her joy as did traveling with her husband.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice and left at the funeral home.
