Eva Willen's Obituary
Eva Marrie Willen, daughter of Oral Gleason and Shirley (Messer) Asberry, was born March 17, 1974, in Dayton, Ohio. She departed this life Sunday, May 3, 2009 in her home, in Cabool, Missouri, at the age of thirty-five years, one month, and sixteen days. She was preceded in death by her father.
Eva is survived by her husband, Darrell Woolard, of the home; four children, Amanda Marie Willen, of Maysville, North Carolina; McKayla, Travis, and Dwayne Woolard, all of Cabool, Missouri; her mother, Shirley Lyons, and her husband, Walter, of Maysville, North Carolina; a brother, Brian Asberry, of Maysville, North Carolina; two half-sisters, Vi Stafford and husband Tim of Mansfield, Missouri and Rose Marie Lyons of Humansville, Missouri, half-brother, Ron Poindexter of Springfield, Missouri as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Eva was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from Belleview High School in Belleview, Kentucky. In 1988 she moved to Mansfield to live with her mother and Walter. She attended Vatterott College and received a degree as a legal secretary and also attended Ozarks Technical College, where she received an Associates degree. After her marriage to Darrell in 2006 she resided in Cabool.
In her spare time she enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and was also a great artist.
Eva was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
Services will be 2:30 Friday, May 8, 2009 in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky with burial following. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 6l, 2009 in Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Mansfield, Missouri.
