Everett West's Obituary
Everett Beryl West, age 85, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri. He was born April 18, 1924 in Osceola, Missouri to Solomon Preston West and Beulah Marie Bounds West. He married Pearl on November 8, 1941 in Bolivar, Missouri. She preceded Everett on May 31, 2009. Everett served in the United Stat es Army during WW II, and was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri. He was a maintenance supervisor for Teters Floral Products in Bolivar before retirement. Everett is survived by his daughter, Anna Marie West of Costa Rica, a sister, Sammie Lewis of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, a son-in-law, Garland Brich of Bolivar, Missouri, five grandchildrena and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Rev. David Lingo and Rev. Ron Tennison officiating. Musical selections will be When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder, The Old Rugged Cross, Rock Of Ages, and Amazing Grace being sung by Bill Yeargain. A violin solo will be by Mary Ruth Pursselley. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. A visitation will be from 5-7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Military Honors will be provided by the AMVETS Post #114 of Flemington, Missouri.
