Faith Elaine Wescom (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Faith Elaine Wescom was born June 1, 1945 in Pennsylvania to Emory J. and Margaret Welling Guzi. She passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the age of eighty years, eight months and ten days.
Faith is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jim; and two sisters, Joyce and Janet.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Wescom; two sons, John Christopher Wescom and his partner Lola of Camdenton, Missouri and Matthew Scott Wescom and his husband Rainier of Durham, North Carolina; and two grandchildren that she adored, Anthony and Allison.
Faith’s dad was in the Air Force and as such, she moved often. She lived in Morocco, California, Pennsylvania and Mississippi while growing up.
On February 20, 1972, she was united in marriage to Gary R. Wescom and together they lovingly raised their two sons, making many wonderful memories along the way. After she and Gary were married, they lived on the beautiful coast of central California in Arroyo Grande.
Faith and Gary moved to Missouri in 2002. Faith had a special talent in making beautiful quilts. She made dozens of quilts and won awards in international competitions.
She loved nature and being outdoors. Faith and Gary enjoyed traveling and took many wonderful trips in the United States and throughout the world.
Faith was a very caring lady and took an interest in others. She was a devoted wife, a cherished mother and grandmother, and a good friend. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, February 20, 2026 at Holman-Howe Funeral Home, from 6 - 7 p.m.
A memorial to The Cope House or Claws and Paws has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
