On February 24, 1944, she was united in marriage to Ules Harrison Myers, and to this union one daughter and three sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ules, on December 26, 1999; a brother, Bluford Gann; and three sisters, Myrtle Anderson, Edna Kelsey, and Iva Hildebrand.
Flo is survived by a daughter, Nolamay Wade, and her husband, Allan, of Lebanon, Missouri; three sons, Garry Myers, of Lebanon, Missouri, Larry Myers, and his wife, Diane, of Springfield, Missouri, and Gail Myers, and his wife, Patricia, of Lebanon, Missouri; eight grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Bloodland and Big Piney communities, near Lebanon. After she and Ules were married, they made their home in the Sunnyview community and lovingly raised their children. Throughout the years, Flo was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Flo professed her faith in Christ early in her life and was a longtime active member of Sunnyview Freewill Baptist Church.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and playing the guitar. She loved animals and particularly liked caring for her dogs, cats, and chickens. She grew a garden each year and also cared for the flower beds around her home. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Flo was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories she created for them during her ninety-one years.
