Florence Moles' Obituary
Florence Adele Moles, daughter of Roy and Florence Adele Wilson Meinzer, was born June 3, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and departed this life January 17, 2010, in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-nine years, seven months and fourteen days. On October 31, 1959, she was united marriage to Sam Moles and to this union two sons were born. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Patrick Meinzer. Florence is survived by her husband, Sam, of the home; two sons, Rick Moles of Rogersville, Missouri, and Scott Moles of Ozark, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Megan, Zachary and Jennifer Moles, Nicole Jackson and husband Dillon, Chance, Marcus and Tanner Moles; two great-grandchildren, Willy and Wade Jackson; three brothers, Charles Meinzer of Forks, Washington, Warren Meinzer of San Luis Obispo, California, and Ronnie Meinzer of Bristol, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Lois Sandte of Levittown, Pennsylvania and Nancy DeDeo of Palm Coast, Florida; fourteen nieces, eleven nephews, nine great-nephews and four great-nieces. She grew up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Florence met and married Sam in New Jersey. In 1968 she and Sam moved to Mansfield and lived there until 1971 when they moved to Harrison, Arkansas, where they owned rental property as well as a franchised Honda Motorcycle dealership until 1986. They moved back to the Springfield area in 1993 and currently made their home in rural Rogersville. Florence lived life to the fullest and loved to ride motorcycles and travel. She worked side by side with Sam in their business ventures and although her health failed very quickly, she continued to have a wonderful sense of humor right to the end of her life. She had accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior on February 3, 1980, and became a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Harrison, Arkansas. In 1995, she became a member of the First Baptist Church in Ozark where she attended until her untimely death. She loved kids and small animals and in her spare time she enjoyed gardening and crafts. Florence was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Personal Note to you from Florence: “Those that don’t have the Lord, “get him.” “Those that have him, “hang on,” time is short! Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Mansfield. Burial will be in the Number Five Cemetery.
