Florene B. Sailly (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Bonnie Florene Sailly, daughter of Floyd and Verdie Lynch Myers, was born July 25, 1931, near Conway, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-two years, one month, and twenty-nine days.
On May 10, 1991, she was united in marriage to Edmond Sailly, and they shared the last twenty-two years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Mona Brookover.
“Ree”, as she was lovingly called by her family and friends, is survived by her husband, Ed, of the home; three daughters, Ronda Mitchell, and her husband, Neil, of Columbia, Missouri, Bobbi Lightbody, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Patricia Murry, and her husband, John, of Camdenton, Missouri; two sons, Jeff Decker, and his wife, Theda, and Joseph Decker, and his fiancée, Rhonda Langston, all of Lebanon, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Chris, Tony, David, Katie, Jennifer, Matthew, William, Mary, Matthew, Kaitlin, and Michael; five great-grandchildren, Lilli, Madelyn, Brianna, Dakota, and Carson; a brother, Darrell Myers, of Springfield, Missouri; a sister, Sue Duke, and her husband, John, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Zeta Johnson, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Conway community, and graduated from Conway High School. She then lived most of her life in the Lebanon area. Throughout the years, she was a devoted and hardworking homemaker to her husband and family, and also worked at Wal Mart at one time.
Florene made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life, and had established her own personal relationship with her Lord and Savior.
She had volunteered as a Pink Lady at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon for several years. She liked being outdoors and enjoyed growing beautiful flowers. She also liked collecting frogs of all kinds. She was a very caring person who always put her family first and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Florene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them through the years.
