Forest Sluss (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Forest Muncy Sluss, son of Kennis and Nannie Mae Muncy Sluss, was born, May 6, 1934 in Inez, Kentucky. He departed this life, Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Laurie Care Center, Laurie, Missouri at the age of seventy-eight years and thirteen days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Nellie Mae Grim and Mary Jane Sluss and a brother, Morris Watson Sluss.
Survivors include three brothers, Gene Sluss and wife Barbara of Kalamazoo, Michigan, James Sluss and wife Jackie of Linn Creek, Missouri and Willie Sluss and wife Peggy of Linn Creek, Missouri and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Forest was raised in Kentucky and moved to the lake area in 1964. He worked for over twenty years at G&G Marina.
Forest made a profession of faith and was a member of Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church.
In his spare time he enjoyed building and doing woodworking projects. He liked doing mechanical work on small engines and bicycles. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was a loving brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
