Frances Adams (Seymour)'s Obituary
Frances Fae Adams, daughter of Jess and Nellie (Maxey) Cameron was born May 29, 1919 in Bluford, Illinois. She departed this life on June 15, 2013, in Glenwood Healthcare, Seymour, Missouri at the age of ninety-four years and seventeen days.
A graduate from Bluford High School, Frances was on the girls’ basketball team and marching band, playing the clarinet. She married her true love Arthur Adams on February 4, 1944 and to this union a daughter was born. After 32 years of service, Frances retired from the JCP Company. She then devoted her time to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wilbert; her parents and her brother Emory Cameron.
Frances is survived by her daughter Joyce Janet Evans of Seymour, Missouri; her three grandchildren Frank Jones of Kansas City, Missouri, Alex Chilson of Marshfield, Missouri and Ashley Chilson of Mayfield, Kentucky; seven great-grandchildren Kyln and Kolton Jones, Hailly and Shelby Chilson and Abigail, Raydn and Avery Chilson; her only brother’s daughter and son Ellen Knolhoff and Dean Cameron; as well as a host of other dear family and friends.
A generous and loving soul to all, Frances Adams will be missed. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the memories she created for each of us.
It was Frances wish for cremation. A memorial service will be held at the Marshfield Kingdom Hall at a later time.
