Francis Fitzpatrick (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Francis “Pops” LeRoy Fitzpatrick, Sr. passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was born September 4, 1931 in Junction City, Oregon to Francis Kermit Fitzpatrick and Velma (Gray) Fitzpatrick Blair.
Francis was a mechanic and also worked for Enterprises Workshop in Bolivar, Missouri. He was a United States Army Veteran and a former member of the DAV. He enjoyed gospel music, singing, playing the piano and guitar.
Francis was preceded in death by one brother, Lane Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by his son, Francis LeRoy Fitzpatrick Jr. and his wife Stacy of Bolivar, Missouri, five daughters, Debbie Alexander and her husband Barry of Silver City, New Mexico, Becky Lee and her husband Melvin of Osceola, Missouri, Kathy Sanders of Nevada, Missouri, Hope Faughnstock of Independence, Missouri, Donna Leonard and her husband Brian of Milo, Missouri, two brothers, Terry Fitzpatrick of Springfield, Oregon, Jerry Fitzpatrick of Portland, Oregon, two sisters, Alice Patterson and Lesta Exe both of Springfield, Oregon, 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Memorial services are pending at this time but will be announced at a later date under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri.
