Frank Blazek (Humansville)'s Obituary
Frank James Blazek, 96, of Humansville, MO passed away November 15, 2018 at Northwood Hills Care Facility Care Center in Humansville, MO.
He was born July 4, 1922 to Venzel and Mary Blazek. Frank was the eighth of nine children in the household. He grew up and attended school in the community of Dubuque, Kansas. As he grew up he was one of the main sons to help his father Venzel with farm work. Frank also served honorably in World War II as an ambulance driver and an automotive repairman. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Air Force on June 8, 1949.
On July 27, 1947, Frank married Ruth Elva Lee. To this union four children were born. When Frank’s parents decided to move to Wilson, KS, Frank stayed and continued to work the cattle and farm. He also stayed busy by working nights in the oil field.
Frank and his wife Ruth had taken many vacations to Missouri and in1966 they decided to move his family to a farm outside of Humansville. He farmed and odd jobs here and there. Frank was a kind and caring person. If anyone ever needed help, he would graciously lend a helping hand. Frank was also a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Mission Church in Humansville.
Frank was preceded in death by Ruth (Blazek) Carlson, as well as his son, Edward Blazek, and his grandson, Aaron Blazek. He is also preceded by his sisters, Mary Hoffman, Helen Woydziak, Sister Mary Stanislaus, sister Mary Josephine, and his brothers, Joseph Blazek, John Blazek, Jim Blazek, and Anthony Blazek.
Visitation for Frank Blazek will be held Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 3-5 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Humansville, MO. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10 AM at the Butler Funeral Home in Humansville, MO, with graveside services to follow at Humansville Cemetery.
