Frank J. Doublin (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Frank Junior Doublin, son of Archie and Mary A. Jones Doublin, was born November 3, 1952, in Hartford City, Indiana. He departed this life Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-four years, six months, and seven days.
His parents preceded him in death.
Frank is survived by his wife, Jane Doublin, of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Lisa Vazquez, and her husband, Eddy, and Tracy Chapman, and her husband, Jeff, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Frank Doublin, and his wife, April, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Kenny Doublin, of Nixa, Missouri, and Keith Doublin, of Forsyth, Missouri; three sisters, Velma Doublin, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Edna Vorhees, and Judy McGrath, both of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Lebanon area, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. He then lived most of his life in and around Lebanon, where he and Jane raised their family. He made a career as a truck driver for Tracker Marine – Lebanon for twenty-three years.
Frank was a longtime, active member of Harvest Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Lebanon.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where he liked to go fishing. He loved music, played the guitar and sang. He had a servant’s heart and was always helping others. He possessed a delightful sense of humor and loved to laugh. His family was very dear to him and he especially enjoyed having time with his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him
A memorial has been established to the Harvest Tabernacle of Lebanon Missouri.
