Frank George (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Frank George, son of John and Mary Rodriquez George, was born January 7, 1925, in Gilroy, California. He departed this life Friday, March 30, 2018, in Maple Wood Alzheimer Specialty Care Center in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of ninety-three years, two months, and twenty-three days.
On September 8, 1947, he was united in marriage to Alice Delores, and to this union two daughters were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice, on September 3, 2008; three brothers, Tony, John, and Manuel George; and a sister, Mary Brashire.
Frank is survived by two daughters, Sherrill Crosno, and her husband, Dale, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Carole Lee Garner, of the State of Georgia; three grandchildren, Marlene Angelique, and Aaron; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in California and then served his country faithfully in the United States Navy for a few years. He then made his home in Monterey and San Jose, California where he worked for AT & T Telephone Company for thirty-five years. For the last ten years he had made his home in Lebanon, Missouri, to be closer to his daughter.
Frank was raised in the Catholic faith.
In his spare time he loved playing golf, and enjoyed being outdoors. He was a very friendly person who liked being around people. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Frank was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
