Fred Junior Sien's Obituary
Fred Junior Sien, son of Fred and Bonnie A. Rogers Sien, was born May 3, 1951, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, July 21, 2006, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-five years, two months, and eighteen days. His parents, and a sister, Dorothy Booker, preceded him in death. Fred is survived by his wife, Rita Sien, of Lebanon, Missouri; a special friend, Carolyn Beal, of the home; a son, Anthony Sien, and his wife, Tammy, of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Regina Walters, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Millena Sien, of Clarence, Missouri; nine grandchildren, David, Justin, Austin, Dustin, Tony, Kyla, Clayton, Breanna, and Victoria; seven brothers, Orville, Leonard, Virgil, Albert, Glen, Charley, and Delbert Sien, all of Lebanon, Missouri; five sisters, Mary Ann Dowden, of Bolivar, Missouri, Evelina McDaniels, Opal Dowden, Pauline Smith, and Bonne Lou Rodden, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1969. He then made his home in the Sleeper community for most of his life. He worked for Appleby Boat Company and then as a mechanic and logger for Independent Stave Company for many years. Fred made his faith in Christ early in his life and followed the Pentecostal faith throughout the years. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where he liked fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed tinkering with vehicles. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Fred will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and friends. We celebrate his life and will treasure the memories he made for all those that knew and loved him. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Sleeper Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
