Fred Ringer's Obituary
Freddie "Fred" Lee Ringer, age 74, of Bolivar, Missouri, died peacefully Friday morning, April 8, 2011 at his home in Bolivar, Missouri after a short-lived battle with cancer.
He was born in Sarcoxie, Missouri on April 20, 1936, the son of Fred Ringer and Nola Alice (Herren) Ringer.
He served in the United States Navy from March of 1959 to March of 1962.
On December 31, 1959 Fred married Rosemary Blevins in Omaha, Nebraska.
Fred lived most of his life in Omaha, Nebraska until he retired as a heavy equipment operator and moved to Missouri in 1996.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nola Alice (Herren) Ringer, his father, Fred Ringer, and his half-sister who raised him, Nadine Cromer.
Fred is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rosemary of Bolivar, Missouri, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Brenda Ringer, and grandchildren, Cameron and Alice Ringer all of Omaha, Nebraska.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 16th, 2011 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri (417-326-5233).
