In his spare time, he enjoyed playing bingo and card games. He was a fan of the Connecticut Women’s Basketball team. He loved getting out in the woods and hunting.
Georgia, his sister, has memories of Fred being kind of ornery. One instance she remembers is when he buried his two sister’s dolls that they had just gotten for Christmas. She always knew when he was up to something when he would get that look in his eyes. The thing she is going to miss the most, is the phone calls she would receive from Fred on her birthday. They didn’t miss calling each other on their birthdays.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
