Fred Wray (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Frederick Arthur Wray, son of Eugene Harold and Emily Marguerite Hookstra Wray, was born, February 17,1928 in Hastings, Nebraska. He departed this life, May 22,2019, in his home in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of ninety-one years, three months and five days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lucille Wray, and two brothers, Robert and Eugene Wray.
He is survived by his daughters, Jody Thorsen and husband Owen of Omaha, Nebraska and Janet Rock and husband Robbin of Omaha, Nebraska,; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Fred was raised in Hastings, Nebraska and moved to the lake area in 1987. Fred build custom boats and motorcycle seats and owned his own business.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and flying his remote controlled airplane around the lake.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
