Frederick Wallmark (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Frederick John "Rick" Wallmark, son of June Edward and Marie Magdaline Montgomery Wallmark, was born August 2, 1934, in Washington, D.C. He departed this life Monday, August 22, 2016, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-two years, and twenty days
On November 12, 1982, he was united in marriage to Judy Gwen Dawson, and they shared the last thirty-three years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters.
"Rick", as he was called by his family and friends, is survived by his wife, Judy, of the home; three sons, Val Wallmark, & his wife, Connie, of the State of Mississippi, Lee Wallmark, of the State of Louisiana, and Jay Wallmark, and his wife, Bobbie, of the State of Mississippi; four step-daughters, Nida Mudd, & her husband, Todd, of Atlanta, Georgia, Aura Quinn, & her husband, Patrick, of St. Louis, Missouri, Alisa Garcia, & her husband, Yannick, of London, England, and Terrika Seal, & her husband, Richard, of St. Louis, Missouri; a number of grandchildren; three brothers, William "Buzzy" Wallmark, of the State of North Carolina, Jerry Wallmark, of the State of South Carolina, and Ralph Wallmark, of the State of Maryland; two sisters, Joyce Kaboski, and Dolly Weiskoff, both of the State of Maryland; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and then entered the military as a young man. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army for fifteen years, and was a field medic. While stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, he met and married Judy. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he began working for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service where he became an Executive Officer and traveled all over the world. He retired from the AAFES while working in Panama and then he and Judy enjoyed their retirement years in the Lebanon area.
Rick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations to Claws and Paws (Lebanon Humane Society) may be made through the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
