Gail Eugene Chastaine (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Gail Eugene Chastine, son of the late Roscoe & Mauda (Turner) Chastain, was born on November 1,1935 in Buffalo, Missouri and departed this life on March 12, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. At the time of his passing he was 82 years, 4 months and 11 days of age.
Gail was born and raised in the Dallas County area. In 1953 he was united in marriage to Wilma Jean Lawson and to this union 3 children were born, all whom survive him. After Wilma’s passing in 2005 Gail met Nellie Turner who became a very faithful companion of his until he passed. Gail was a very devoted member and Deacon to the First Freewill Baptist Church in Buffalo and very rarely missed a Sunday service. He loved to fish, be out in nature and sing gospel music. He also loved spending time with his family and especially his grandkids.
Gail was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilma; his two brothers, Glen Chastine and Paul Chastine; and his two sisters, Veda Unger and Eva McDonnell. He is survived by his three sons, Danny Chastine, Dale Chastine and David (Julie) Chastine; and three grandchildren, Ryan Chastine, Shane Chastine and Kaila Chastine.
