Gary Ray Ball (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Gary Ray Ball, son of Gilbert and Evelyn Barnett Ball, was born January 7, 1957 in Independence, Missouri. He passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was sixty-eight years, eleven months and one day of age.
Gary was raised in Independence and went to school there. He moved to the Lebanon area over forty years ago and drove over-the-road for several years. He then was employed at Lebanon Ready-Mix. He retired from there in 2022 after twenty-five years of service.
On November 11, 2000, Gary was united in marriage to Kim Ball. They blended their family of nine children and made many wonderful memories over the past twenty-five years.
Gary was a member at Harvest Church in Lebanon and loved his church family and worshipping God with them.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Evelyn Ball.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kim; their children, Candace Irizarry and her husband Cesar of Hermitage, Missouri, Colton Greenwell and his wife Lacey of Camdenton, Missouri, Ashley Hilton and her husband Justin of Harrison, Arkansas, Amber Hernandez and her husband William, Lori Peters and her husband Shawn, Andrea Waters and her husband Brett, Brittany Barnett and her husband Kyle, Crystal Neal and Dusty Ball, all of Lebanon, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one more on the way; and three sisters, Cathy Newman and her husband Rick of Humansville, Sherry Farrell and her husband John of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Taffy Klemin of Lebanon, Missouri.
Gary loved spending time with his family. They were all so very special to him and he especially looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and great—grandchild.
Gary enjoyed going camping, hunting, fishing, and auto racing. He enjoyed barbecuing and listening to country music.
Throughout his marriage to Kim, Gary was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, embodying the roles of a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a good and honorable man and we know his family and friends will treasure the memories he made with them.
A service for Gary Ball will be held Friday, December 12 at 5 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, December 12, at 4 p.m. until service time.
A memorial to the family has been established and donations may be made at the funeral home.
