Gary was born on February 2nd, 1964, in Springfield, Missouri, the second of three children.
He was the son of Robert “Bob” Clark and Rosemary Mackenzie (Watkins). Gary graduated from Bolivar High School and began a lifelong career in the family business with his father, selling and delivering furniture to thousands of homes in the area and for a short time taking over ownership
of Clark’s Furniture prior to his retirement to focus on his full-time job of fishing the local waterways.
Gary was blessed with five children who he deeply cared about until the very end; Devin Clark and Abigail Clark both of Bolivar, Ashley Clark of North Las Vegas, along with Hunter Clark and Brady Clark both of Humansville. Gary is survived by his Mother, Rosemary Watkins of
Humansville and Step-Mother, Betty Clark of Fairview, Tennessee; along with his sister Brenda Tucker and husband Tom of Humansville, brother Andy Clark and wife Janet of Fort Leonard Wood, sister Kathy O’Connor and husband Howard, sister Debbie Burns and husband Robin, both of Stockton; sister Patti Killingsworth and husband Alan of Fairview, Tennessee; sister

Gary was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing all throughout the years with many special friends. Gary held records for the largest catfish caught in Missouri for a time. Gary also enjoyed watching sports and playing pool with his friends. When not fishing or visiting friends,
Gary could be found cruising the streets with his dog and partner-in-crime, Lucy.
As a shock to many given his dislike of doctors, but as a showing of the gentle giant he could be, Gary had placed himself on the Organ Donor list to give the gift of life to others in the event of his death. His children supported that wish as his final act of compassion in the hours following his death was tested and matched for donation of his liver and both kidneys, saving a total of three lives with his donation along with helping numerous people heal through his donation of tissue, nerves, and bone.
Gary’s visitation will be held at Butler’s Funeral Home in Humansville on Tuesday, February 19th from 5PM-7PM with his celebration of life service being held at LIFE Church, Humansville, officiated by Pastor Carl Long on Wednesday, February 20th at 11a.m. Following the service Gary will be cremated with half of his ashes being spread at the river in Osceola,
Missouri and the other half buried at the family cemetery in Conway, Missouri, at a later date, all per his wishes.
