Gary David Allen's Obituary
Gary David Allen, son of Archie F. And Eddie D. Warren Allen, was born December 7, 1956, in Laclede County, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, January 5, 2007, from injuries received in an automobile accident, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty years, and twenty-eight days. On September 8, 2006, he was united in marriage to Polly Ann Stark. His parents preceded him in death. Gary is survived by his wife, Polly, of the home; a son, Tim Allen, of Ozark, Missouri; a daughter, Michelle Hurst, of Ozark, Missouri; five stepchildren, Robert Stark, and his wife, Randi, D. C. Stark, Michelle Jenkins, and her husband, Matt, Suzee Lane, and Joey Pulley; four grandchildren, Desirae Hurst, Harlie Appleberry, Jeremy Allen, Emily Stark, and Kynnace Pulley; a brother, Larry Allen, and his wife, Janet, of Richland, Missouri; three sisters, Kathy Allen, of Lebanon, Missouri, Paulette Lammert, and her husband, Alan, of the State of Missouri, and Rhonda Jo Jones, of the State of Wyoming; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born and raised in the Brownfield community, and then lived most of his adult years in the Lebanon area. He had worked for the Independent Stave Company for several years, and was currently employed by Generation 3 Boat Manufacturing Company. Gary had rededicated his life to Jesus Christ on September 6, 2006, and was a member of Lebanon Family Church. He was very mechanically inclined and was good at repairing automobiles. He liked fixing all kinds of things and had a collection of lawn mowers. He enjoyed being outdoors and liked hunting, fishing, and exploring the woods. He had a delightful sense of humor and enjoyed having water fights, and playing cards. His favorite dessert was gooseberry pie. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he made for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience. Memorials may be made through the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
