Gary Don Peterson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Gary Don Peterson, son of Don and Suzie Huckaby Peterson, was born August 18, 1970, in Pulaski County, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-seven years, nine months, and seventeen days.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Ricky Moad.
Gary is survived by his parents, Jack and Suzie Hill, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Alisha Peterson, and her husband, Roger, of Warrensburg, Missouri; two sons, Spencer Young, and Justin L. Peterson, both of Lebanon, Missouri; a granddaughter, Khloe Packham; four brothers, Randy Hood, Ronnie Peterson, and Bobby Peterson, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Troy Peterson, of the State of Texas; six sisters, Joyce Baker, Patty Rogers, Stephanie German, Marilee Smalley, and Donna Baker, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Dora Vandergrift, of the State of Arkansas; a number of nieces and nephews; several cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Lebanon area and attended Stoutland Schools. He worked at various jobs throughout the years including as a mechanic, and was very enterprising.
Gary had made his profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Community Baptist Church. He had attended various other churches throughout his life. He was a faithful reader of the Bible.
In his spare time he enjoyed playing the guitar and fishing. He also liked having family time and barbeques. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his granddaughter.
Gary was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
