Gary Snow (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Gary L. Snow was born January 1, 1950 near Grovespring, Missouri to Ira and Anna Moore Snow. He departed this life Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri. At the time of his passing, he was seventy-three years, two months and seven days.
Gary Grew up in the Grovespring Community, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 1967. He began his career with the H.D. Lee Company in Lebanon and worked there for thirty years. He then went to The Durham Company and spent fifteen years there before retiring. He was a dedicated worker and faithful to the many friends he made while working at H.D. Lee and Durham.
On September 6, 1968, Gary married the love of his life, Jeanne M. Pendergraft and to this union, a daughter and a son were born. Together they shared over 54 years of happiness and trials, laughter and tears, while lovingly raising their family.
He was a member of Community Baptist Church and his life rotated around his family. He loved his family so very much. He really enjoyed being at the farm and found great satisfaction in taking care of the farm and raising cattle.
In his spare time, Gary liked to go fishing whenever possible and hunting for deer and turkey. He also enjoyed auctions of all kinds. He especially liked being with this grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They brought him so much happiness and they will never forget the memories they made with their grandpa. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne, of the home; his daughter, Tammie Burns, and her boyfriend, Daniel; his son, Brian Snow, and his wife, Sheila, all of Lebanon, Missouri; his brother, Joy Snow and his wife, Debbie of Marshfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Justin, Jordan and his wife, Cassie, Kirsten and her fiancé Braydon and Colton; and four great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Bo, Layla and Junior.
Gary will be remembered for being a hard worker. He loved the Lord, and was a wonderful and loving family man and faithful friend. He will be missed by those who knew him and loved him. Gary has left a legacy to his family that will be valued and treasured for many years to come.
