Gavin Dean Price (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Gavin Dean Price, son of Jesse Price and Amanda Gibbs, was born November 3, 1998, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, October 16, 2019, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of twenty years, eleven months, and thirteen days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnny Stewart; his maternal step-grandfather, Dale Gibbs; an uncle, Ryan Lord; and a cousin, Ashlyn Gibbs.
Gavin is survived by his mother, Amanda Gibbs, and her husband, Dale, of Lebanon, Missouri; his father, Jesse Price, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Styles Price, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Cole Gibbs, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandmothers, Velma Stewart, and Lawanna Gibbs, both of Lebanon, Missouri; his paternal grandparents, Ron and Suzie Dennis, and Gary Price, all of Lebanon, Missouri; his great-grandmothers, Lorna Chaney, of Springfield, Missouri, and Betty Cochran, of Iberia, Missouri; the mother of his son, Keagan Blackerby, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon area, and attended Joel E. Barber School before graduating from Lebanon High School in the Class of 2017. While in school he was very involved in sports, playing football, track, wrestling, and weightlifting. He had worked for Independent Stave Company, now Missouri Cooperage, for the last several years.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends, and enjoyed working out. He loved his family dearly, and was especially close to his son, who he rotated his life around.
Gavin was a loving son, father, brother, grandson, great-grandson, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
A memorial has been established for his son, Styles, for his education.
