Gene Miller (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Edward Eugene (Gene) Miller was born on February 21,1927 in Flemington,
MO the son of Fred & Minnie (Molder) Miller. He passed from this earthly
home July 30, 2016 at the age of 89 yrs. 5 months.
Gene met and married Helen Fern Wrisinger on November 17, 1944. To this
union one daughter Sharon Kay and two sons Ernest Daniel & Edward Dale
were born.
Gene worked for the Polk county police dept. as a deputy & sheriff for
three decades. (1970's, 80's & 90's)
Helen passed away August 27, 2002.
On November 22, 2004 Gene was united in marriage to Della Lorene
(Welch) Mullins of Climax Springs, MO, she brought into this marriage five
daughters and two sons. In April of 2013 they moved back to Climax
Springs, Mo to be closer to family for health reason. They lived a happy, fun
loving life until her death September OS, 2015.
Gene was member of the Church of Christ in Warsaw, MO
Gene is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Helen Fern
(Wrisinger) Miller, one son Ernest Daniel Miller, two brothers Allen Wayne
Miller & half-brother Elza Molder.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon Kay Miller (Vic) Liberty, MO & his son
Edward Dale Miller (Terry) Kansas City, MO, five step-daughters Sharlet
Anderson (Dave) and Shelley Cline (Marvin) both of Climax Springs, MO,
Sherry Silvers (Donnie) and Gail Prato (Ed) both of Camdenton, MO,
Roberta Bench (Jimmy) of Richland, MO, two step-sons Joe (Debbie) Mullins
and Jim Mullins both of Climax Springs, MO, as well as numerous
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
