Geneva A. Crowder (Hartville)'s Obituary
Geneva Alberta Crowder, age 87, of Temple, Texas, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend went to be with the Lord in the early hours of November 26, 2013 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Her passing was a result of complications from surgery for a broken hip suffered on November 18, 2013 at Garden Estates Assisted Living in Temple, Texas.
She was born on February 11, 1926 in Hartville, Missouri to Harry L. Moody and Vada Rippee.
Geneva met William Aubrey Crowder in Denver, Colorado and later married him on March 11, 1948 in Baxter County, Arkansas. Bill preceded her in death on August 10, 1984.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Robert and Linda Crowder of Harker Heights, Texas and Jackie and Cindi Crowder of Santa Rosa, California. Three grandchildren; Sean and Elizabeth Crowder of Arlington, Texas, Robert and Lora Crowder of Aurora, Colorado, and Paul and Michelle Hancock of Arlington, Texas. Nine grandchildren; September and Shea Mansheim of Aurora, Colorado, Adam and Abbie Hancock of Arlington, Texas, Cody Crowder of Parker, Colorado, Christina and Rebekah Crowder of Aurora, Colorado, Makenna and Kaylin M. Crowder of Arlington, Texas; Her brother, Fred Moody of Springfield, Missouri; Her sisters; Peggy Mayab and Barbara Johns of Springfield, Missouri, and Beverly Hensley of Madison Heights, Michigan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
